The City of Beaver Falls Police Department is committed to excellence in everything we do. The Police Department provides the following services:

The patrol service is the most critical and visible aspect of the City of Beaver Falls Police Department. Patrol Officers respond to crimes in progress, traffic accidents, reports of suspicious activity, and requests for assistance ranging from medical help to crime prevention. Patrol officers conduct initial investigations of all crimes dispatched within the City of Beaver Falls Police Department jurisdiction. The primary objective of the patrol service is to assure the safety of all members of the community.

Police Bicycle Patrol

The City of Beaver Falls Police Department Bicycle Patrol is a specialized unit that assists patrol units with law enforcement and community relations. All officers assigned to this unit have extensive training in police bike operations and are certified through the International Police Mountain Bike Association.

Police Motorcycle Patrol

The City of Beaver Falls Police Department Motorcycle Patrol is a newly reestablished unit that assists patrol units with law enforcement and community relations. This unit assists with traffic control and is primarily assigned to the downtown business district area. Currently, only one officer is assigned to this position.

K-9 Enforcement

Team The City of Beaver Falls Police Department K-9 Enforcement Team’s mission is to provide a reliable patrol dog capability through the employment of trained officer/canine teams to aid law enforcement patrol units. Currently, the City of Beaver Falls has two active K-9 teams in service.

The K-9 teams are highly skilled and are trained in the following:

  • Handler Protection
  • Tracking
  • Crowd Control
  • Narcotic Searches
  • Building Searches
